Giada Maestra is a London-based illustrator and cartoonist from Pordenone, Italy. She studied Fashion Design and Multimedia Arts in Venice before further refining her drawing and design skills with an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London (UAL).
Passionate about storytelling, Giada enjoys capturing scenes and details from everyday life through both digital and traditional media, with a particular love for ink and watercolours. Her work draws inspiration from life and disciplines that form part of her background, such as street and fashion photography, design, and fine art. She often focuses on female characters and favours simple shapes and colours, using clear, synthesised lines to emphasise direct and often humorous messages.
Since completing her MA, Giada has worked across various areas of visual communication, including commercial projects, editorial illustration, and private commissions.
When not drawing, she enjoys collecting stationery, cacti, and books.
